Bring the life back to Historic Fort Wayne!

Rarely does one travel off the beaten path of I-75 or better yet Fort Street..

so what is along West Jefferson just South of Detroit? 

That's right everybody, the ghost town-esque Delray neighborhood!

So how do we bring some life back to some of these desolate places? 

Personally I think we need to write our legislators and the Detroit city council members to push for funding at rehabbing Historic Fort Wayne.  When I say rehab I mean build up parts of the base so that Southeastern Michigan can use it as a National Guard / Army Reserve base and incorporate ROTC programs into local universities like Wayne State University, The University of Michigan Dearborn, and The University of Detroit Mercy.  On top of that since the Detroit area already has a large presence of the Army Corps of Engineers, the base could be rehabbed to include operations etc. for them as well.
